| We have served the Kern County Community for over 15 years. Our ties to the local community are strong and we believe in giving back to our community whenever possible. We support both local and national organizations with fabrics and with help in their fundraising efforts.
We do so by embracing efforts that our customers put forth and providing an affordable means to many causes.
Alot of the projects we support are children's drama and theater. Church organizations. Community service projects for the disabled or less fortunate.
Our clients include the Kern High School District, Bakersfield City School District, Kern Community College District, St. Francis Church, The Episcopal Church Women, CSUB Dore Theater, Stars Theater, Bakersfield Community Theater, many other local theaters, schools, community services, and philanthropic organizations such as the Owens Valley Career Development Center who work with the Native Communities
Another effort that we support is Project Linus This organization provides security through blankets to children.
Our stores also serve as a drop off point for donations
of fabric.
We support the Bakersfield Police Activities League, the Kern County Sheriff's Activities League, The Bakersfield Fire Department. |
